syGlass v2.3.0 is here, with new features for visualization, analysis, and content creation.

No matter how you use syGlass, our spring 2025 update has something for you. Here’s a small sampling of the highlights:

• Improvements to time series image analysis: segmentation is now supported across time points, and the tracking tool has a new-and-improved control system (segmentation shown below)

• Image histogram visualization, to help determine key ranges for windowing and thresholding (below, left)

• New in-menu preview of your avatar, name, affiliation, and microphone settings to confirm your setup before entering narration or multiplayer (above, right)
• The ability to embed new active learning exercises into narration content, including 3D label-matching activities
• An editing system for narration content, allowing trimming and audio replacement or overlay (below, left)

• Real-time anaglyph rendering for red-cyan 3D glasses, and options to export photo and video content in anaglyph mode (above, right)
• A new user interface for the label tool, featuring a scrolling list of all available labels and the ability to import labels from CSV files
• Improvements and optimizations for the handling of many file formats and for surfaces included in syGlass projects
